Mentally impaired Gwen, has some residual intelligence, but puzzles over why her late mother called her “selfish”. The only way to overcome this notion is to become a fishmonger, so she can “sell fish”. Her elder sister, Megan, tells Gwen that she simply does not understand what their mother meant. Gwen asks her therapist, Roy, to write a letter to the local fishmonger, Dan, so that she can become a seller of fish for therapeutic reasons.
