In 1863 during the Civil War in the Carolinas, Private Thomas Morgan leaves his Union regiment to rescue a little girl named Molly Barnes from her plantation, ripped apart and set ablaze by a nearby battle. Taking her on one of the few remaining working trains, Thomas risks everything to protect her from both Union and Confederate armies, pursuing them both with merciless determination.

The Long Rail North debuted as a festival production on February 3rd, 2014.  It was produced by C.A.G.E. Theatre Company and directed by Michael Hagins
