THE LAUNCH OF THE MUDDLEWICK PAGEANT by Horry Parsons

£5.00

This three act comedy/crime mystery takes place in Muddlewick Civic Hall where a dinner is being held to launch a first ever Pageant to mark the thousand year anniversary of the Battle of Twisted Bottom. This event results in a new battle between a number of local residents whom wish to either star in the Pageant or gain financially from the occasion. Unfortunately, the Mayoress has her own firmly set views on who will benefit and the whole event is then put into doubt by the loss of an extremely valuable artefact that was to be the centre piece of the production.

This play was originally written to accommodate a meal being served to the audience between acts but this is, of course, entirely optional.

During Act Three all the characters are interrogated before the crime is solved. Audience participation can be included in the interrogations at the Production Directors discretion.
