It’s 2014 and three bored twenty-something Silver Screen Cinema employees find themselves unwilling witnesses to a police shooting of an unarmed black man in the movie theatre parking lot. Although they all saw the same horrific event, their personal backgrounds and beliefs shape what they tell the investigators- and each other. Content warning for offstage depiction of a police shooting. Inspired by the lyrics of David Bowie’s song “Life on Mars.”
