OXYGEN by Nicholas Green

How can you have relationships if you can’t lie?

Divided by prison bars, prisoner Bethel and prison guard Larkspur form a relationship that is made inevitable by the bars that separate them, and which is doomed by Bethel’s inability to lie – the trait that made her a prisoner of the state. They will both come to understand that a prison eventually becomes a sanctuary and visa-versa in very different ways.
