CHARACTERS

Muggins: a working class hero

Mary: engaged to Muggins

Friar: a disgrace to his order

Knight: an aristocratic hero

Wild Eric: a disgrace to the aristocracy

King: no match for the Queen

Queen: actually a witch

Peasant: a poor man

Peasant Girl: a feisty young woman

Donkey: both halves (non-speaking)

Headless body: duplicate Wild Eric costume (non-speaking)

Bear: costume worn by Muggins

Minimum cast: 4m 3f
