MELODY – 30’S – 40’S, a lower form (grade school) teacher, bossy, self-absorbed, conniving know-it-all infatuated with Lionel

LIONEL – 40’S, a modern day Mr. Darcy, brooding, distant

KATHERINE – 40’S – 50’S, an accomplished writer and lover of cozy mysteries

CHARLIE – 40’S, a bachelor, naive, easy-going and a bit infatuated with Melody

ROSIE –      60’s – 70’s, a sufferer in the later stages of dementia

GINA –       40’s – 50’s, Rosie’s ever-patient daughter
