LOVE’S DISENLIGHTENMENT by Jeff Dunne

£3.00

Jason is showing off his latest script to Ashley, the artistic director of the local theater. While the play’s lack of dialog is certainly unexpected, it is the lack of actors that really takes her by surprise. In the end, however, she discovers that this love story between a stick and a lamp might actually be more meaningful than a simple backlash the prior week when nobody showed up to auditions.

REVIEWS

“Such a fun, satirical poke at a playwright/director miscommunication over the eternal question of “what is art”? A fine romp through a mine field of stretching the boundaries of imagination!”

“A little gem of a play–funny, unique, and touching… Wonderful and unexpected parallels in the worlds of the play and the play-within-the-play, and great comic potential for two silent stagehands.”
