IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS by Ashley Adelman

£5.00

Over 50 years ago, thousands of young American women went to Vietnam to serve their country. These women’s stories remain untold. Using the exact words from interviews with five women who served in all different capacities, In Their Footsteps vividly recreates their memories – in all their glory, humor, and horror.

To quote Judy Jenkins Gaudino who served, “We have to separate the war from the warriors.” Seamlessly weaving between the five stories, In Their Footsteps manages to portray the human side of war.

“At one point, the actors voices stop and voice recordings of the women they portray are played. We know them, we’ve heard these stories and the reality of it all is a gut punch. I cried.” – Bonnie Blair – Border Light Festival  – Full article: https://www.borderlightcle.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/In-Their-Footsteps-Review-by-Bonne-Blair.pdf
