FRANKIE’S HANKY by John R Arco

£4.00

Frankie’s Hanky tells the tale of four Italian-American women in their 50’s (Dolly, Marian, Phyllis, Mimi) who are attending the wake of Cookie, the fifth member of their group. Friends since childhood, the five of them shared a magical memorable moment in their teens when they journeyed to New York City to see the one and only Frank Sinatra perform at the Paramount Theatre in 1943. The evening was even more memorable for the recently departed Cookie because she was the lucky recipient of the handkerchief that Frank threw into the crowd after wiping his sweaty brow. She kept it ever since and now the four survivors will find out which of them gets to go home with Frankie’s hanky.
