Despite Stephen Jones having pleaded not guilty, he is convicted of a harrowing attack on a young girl. On arrival at prison, he is attacked by his fellow inmates, who cause him head injuries resulting in amnesia. In light of the nature of his conviction and his amnesia, he is transferred to a secure psychiatric hospital, where things take some unexpected turns.
