A BANQUET OF RESENTMENT by Peter Gartner

£6.00

An elderly couple, Coop and Mary, are not happy. Mary resents her marriage to Coop, and is not proud of their children, who are coming to visit. Chris, their grown up son, resents his childhood, and the way his mental illness was not diagnosed earlier, before he had to be admitted to a mental hospital. He blames his parents for failing him. Faye, and Lara, the grown-up daughters, try to act as peace-makers, but in the end the visit degenerates into a banquet of resentment, with Mary and Chris competing for who has the most cause to be resentful.
